Award Facilitates a Simplified
Purchase of LIMS by Federal Customers
STARLIMS
Corporation has been awarded a Schedule 70 contract by the U.S.
General Services Administration (GSA), the procurement arm of the
federal government. GSA
Schedule 70 provides federal agencies on a worldwide basis with
information technology (IT) and telecommunications hardware,
software, and professional services.
The Schedule 70 award supports STARLIMS’ increasing involvement in
large scale government LIMS projects in areas of public health, food
and water supply and scientific investigations. Since there is no
maximum order limitation under the multiple-award schedule,
customers can use Schedule 70 to support large-scale, multi-million
dollar LIMS implementations.
Federal agencies can obtain information about STARLIMS by searching
for Contract Number: GS-35F-0660P. The contract period is for
five years, July 9, 2004 – July 9, 2009 with three separate
five-year options.
