Your specific tasks will include working with product developers and the
Quality Assurance Manager to:
|
|
Develop and
update guides for system configuration and use. |
|
|
Develop help
systems. |
|
|
Validate
documentation in a test environment. |
|
|
Ensure an
efficient and a consistent approach to system documentation. |
|
|
Maintain
quality assurance standards. |
This position requires:
|
|
Two to three
years of experience writing technical documents for software
products.(This is recommended but may be waived depending on other
qualifications). |
|
|
Skill
using tools including Microsoft Office products and Help system software
such as Robohelp or Help and Manual. FrameMaker is preferred. |
|
|
Knowledge of
standard practices in technical writing. Proven use of the task-oriented
approach is a plus. |
|
|
Understanding of software systems including Web- and client-server
architecture. |
|
|
Ability to
work with minimal supervision. |
|
|
Willingness
to learn new skills. |
|
|
A team
player. |
