Waters
(NYSE: WAT) Millennium32 chromatography software, first introduced in
1992, was the first of its kind to fully incorporate an Oracle(r)
relational database allowing chemists to locate information
effortlessly and spot trends in their chromatographic analyses.
Millennium software has more than 30,000 copies in use today with the
latest version delivering comprehensive capabilities to meet
regulatory and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. Introduced in March of
2002, Empower Software is Waters flagship chromatography product.
Empower Software represents a fundamental shift in chromatography data
system (CDS) usability by replacing cumbersome add-ins (i.e., system
components that provide added functionality through distinct
installations) to a more scaleable switch-on approach. A single window
construct allows the user to remain within the application, instead of
accessing a range of applications using cascaded windows. The Waters
and STARLIMS Corporations have released an interface between Waters
Millennium/Empower Chromatography Software and STARLIMS laboratory
information management system (LIMS). The interface enables the
STARLIMS and Millennium/Empower applications to meaningfully share
actionable information without tedious intervening steps. |
