STARLIMS have worked with EMC to integrate EMC’s Documentum Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system with the STARLIMS Scientific Document Management System (SDMS). This provides a total solution for the capture of documents and unstructured data, their transformation into usable data and information for the laboratory and organization and the long term storage and preservation of the original documents. This allows organizations to fully realize the full value of both current and historical data and to ensure that the data is available for as long as it may be required.

Waters and STARLIMS Corporations have developed and released a seamless interface between the Waters Empower Chromatography Software and STARLIMS’ Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The interface enables the STARLIMS and Empower applications to communicate and share information about samples requiring testing and the results of that testing, eliminating any possible transcriptions errors and speeding up the flow of data and information within the laboratory and the organization.
