Hollywood, FL and Beijing, China - Wednesday, January 1st 2003 – In a move designed to maximize focus and

FL) have announced that a strategic partnership has been agreed upon
whereby SunwayWorld will present STARLIMS with a “Gateway” to
China’s emerging petrochemical market.
The
partnership will benefit from SunwayWorld’s vast experience of providing
system integration services for many large-scale enterprises in China’s
petrochemical industry, as well as STARLIMS leadership in delivering
collaborative laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for
global petrochemical projects.

China is rapidly closing the gap with leading western markets in regard
to consumption of petrochemical products. According to a forecast
report, China will consume 260 million tons of crude oil by 2005, 140
million tons of oil products, about 15 million tons of ethylene, 9.1
million tons of synthetic fiber, and 10.5 million tons of synthetic
fiber raw materials.
