The Michelin Group is one of the world’s leading tire manufacturers. With 68 industrial sites located in 17 countries, Michelin develops, manufactures and markets its products in 170 countries around the world.

Previously, the Michelin Group used a very diverse range of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for ensuring Quality Control on all of its industrial sites. However, as part of an optimization and standardization approach, Michelin has decided to use one global, centralized Laboratory Information Management System. Following a review of the market’s various LIMS solutions, Michelin selected STARLIMS.
