In April 2023, the second phase of the STARLIMS Quality Manufacturing Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) project officially began at Beijing Tide Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
This project is based on the successful implementation and application of the first phase of the STARLIMS Quality Manufacturing Informatics Platform, which is comprised of STARLIMS’ Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Scientific Data Management System (SDMS). It aims to support Tide Pharmaceutical in further improving data integrity with electronic records, and achieve automated, standardized data management at the testing center.
Established in 1995, Beijing Tide Pharmaceutical is a high-tech pharmaceutical company specializing in targeted drug formulation technology and biopharmaceuticals. It is China’s leading R&D and industrialization base for targeted drugs and other innovative products in the fields of microcirculation, pain relief, respiratory disease, and oncology.
Selected as one of the “Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Enterprises” by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for ten consecutive years, Tide Pharmaceutical is also committed to expanding into the American and European markets.
The Quality Control (QC) laboratory at Tide Pharmaceutical generates a massive volume of complex testing data daily. It is essential for them to ensure efficient and reliable data recording, sharing, and management. STARLIMS is a leading enterprise informatics solution, supporting customers with laboratory automation, data integrity and compliance, as well as helping them improve quality and efficiency.
With business workflow management at the core, the STARLIMS QM Platform supports Tide Pharmaceutical’s sample analysis data collection, entry, processing, review, storage, sharing and reporting. By expanding the collaboration with STARLIMS ELN, Tide Pharmaceutical aims to further digitize quality control initiatives, improve efficiency and compliance, and ultimately bring its enterprise integrated informatics construction to a new level.
We wish Tide Pharmaceutical’s STARLIMS second phase project a great success and look forward to further supporting them on their informatics journey!
